Konstruktion sicherer Maschinen
Im Idealfall gibt es eine spezifische C-Norm für die betreffende Maschine. Sie enthält schon alle Risiken und die notwendigen Schutzmaßnahmen. Sonst muss man sich an allgemeinen A- und B-Normen orientieren. Aus disen Normen müssen dann die Grundregeln für die sichere Gestaltung des Arbeitsmittels entnommen werden.
Aus der Anwendung Harmonisierter Normen leitet sich die sogenannte Konformitätsvermutung ab, dass damit schon die grundlegenden Sicherheitsanforderungen der Maschinenrichtlinie erfüllt wurden.
